  • The candidate applying in DOST must have his/her Aadhaar linked with mobile number. The candidates who’s Aadhaar is not linked with mobile number shall visit the Aadhaar updation centre / Post Office / Mee-seeva Centre to link Aadhaar with mobile number. (OR)
  • The candidates who’s Aadhaar
  • aar is not linked with mobile number shall visit the nearest HLC and provide bio-metrics and mobile number (only one mobile number for each DOST ID) to get DOST ID generated and subsequently proceed to payment and submit application in DOST.

Note: The mobile number provided must be active throughout the completion of DOST admission process.

2. Candidate Pre-Registration

Click on Candidate Pre-Registration

Select Qualifying Board (Intermediate/Equivalent) from the drop down. Select Year of Pass.

Select the concerned board from the other board drop down. Enter the Hall Ticket Number.

Select the Date of Birth in (DD/MM/YYYY) format. Enter the Aadhaar number.

Enter Mobile number.

Enter Student Name.

Select Gender.

Enter Father Name.

Mark the check box against the declaration and click on “Click for Aadhaar Authentication”

Enter the OTP received on the mobile.

DOST ID will be generated and success message will be displayed as shown below

Click on “Proceed for Payment” to pay DOST registration fee

Note: If you choose “Payment Later”, you need to click on Application Fee Payment tab on the DOST home page.

After clicking on “Proceed for Payment” a fee payment webpage will be displayed as shown in the screen below and you will be charged a DOST registration fee of Rs 200/- or 400/-.

On clicking Proceed for payment button the control will lead you to the PAYMENT GATEWAY along with Student Payment Details.

Registration fee can be paid through T-Wallet, Credit Card or Debit Card or Internet Banking etc. Select the relevant option and click in “Proceed to Payment.”

(NOTE: During the Payment process, DO NOT double clicks on buttons or click on Back / Refresh buttons or DO NOT close the browser abruptly, instead maintain patience as prompted on the screen & the transaction charges shall vary based on the payment method).

The confirmation of successful payment of Registration Fee is shown with the “Transaction is successful” item in the below web page Payment Status along with “Transaction Id”. (Note: Preserve both the ID’s for future correspondence).

A 6 digit alphanumeric PIN will be sent to the registered mobile number. DOST ID along with PIN can be used to log in to DOST.

Candidate has two options either to proceed to fill in the application immediately or at a later date. Click on “Please Click here to Login” to login to DOST, fill the application immediately and you will be taken to the Candidate login screen or If you choose later time to log in and fill the application, simply close the window and in such case you need to start from DOST home page by clicking on “Candidate login” ta

Candidate must enter DOST ID, PIN & click on “Sign In”.

3.DOST-Candidate Login

The candidate can start filling the application by selecting the tab “Application Details Entry”

In registration application only Student Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile No, Father Name are auto populated .The remaining fields are to be entered by the candidate. The candidate must also upload the photo and relevant supporting documents needs to be uploaded.

At Intermediate/ 10+2/Equivalent Details section Hall Ticket Number, Qualifying Board, Course name, Marks secured/CGPA, Maximum Marks, Studied at, Language Percentage, Group Percentage.

The candidate can select the entry of e-pass id is optional, Inter Medium of instruction, Inter Second language, SSC Hall Ticket Number, SSC/ Equivalent Medium of instruction, SSC/ Equivalent Second language, SSC/Equivalent Hall Ticket Number & Bridge course.

At Present Address section the candidate must enter House no, District, Street, Mandal, Pin code and village. If the permanent address is same as present address the mark the check box. Otherwise permanent address section must also be filled by the appropriate retails. As shown

Enter Father / Mother Contact No, Gaurdian Contact No, Select Religion from (drop down), Blood Group (drop down), Identification Mark 1, Identification Mark 2.

The candidate if eligible can apply under various categories of reservation such as Children of Railway employee, Sports and Games, Extracurricular activities, Children of Ex-service men/ Armed Personnel (CAP), NCC, Are you having any participating/ Achievement Certificate in NCC. Where ever applicable the candidate needs to mark the check box and select the relevant options and upload images of supporting documents in jpeg / jpg.

Note: Physically challenged candidates can select the option Yes/No and the relevant section will be highlighted and the details needs to be filled.

The candidate shall select cast from Claiming Caste (Dropdown).

The candidate must also enter previous 7 year study details, select degree second language preference and check mark against the declaration.

By clicking on preview the entered details are displayed. The application can be edited to make any changes. The application can be submitted by clicking on “Submit”.

Candidates can view pop up alert as “Your application is submitted successfully. Please note your Application Number for further reference”. Candidate can take print of the application by clicking on Print Application which will be useful for further correspondence.

Click on “Click for Web Options”, the page is redirected to web options page. Web options can be exercised course wise / college wise.

Note: When ever the web options are exercised a message will be send to the applicant mobile number.

a) On selecting “By course”, select the University, Course and Medium. (or)

b) On selecting “By College”, Select University Name, University District, College Type, College Name ( Courses offered in that particular college are displayed) in below format.

University Name, Management Type, College Name, Course Name, Medium, Address, Regular / Restructured / Finance, Intake.

4. CBCS Course If the candidate selects CBCS course, after prioritizing, the candidate needs to provide additional inputs as shown below

The candidate must select the subject combinations from each drop down, then Subject Combination Name and Subject Combination Type will be displayed (candidate will have to provide multiple Subject Combination Name for multiple CBCS ).

Please use drag and drop as shown below to exercise web options.

Click on Save Web Options with CBCS

The candidate shall select the district and course, if he / she wishes to join any Government Degree College by selecting the radio button. (Allotment will be subjected to availability).

The candidate can ”Update Web Option Priorities ” and “Delete WebOptions”. On clicking the logout button on menu bar, you can log out of DOST portal.

General Instructions

  • 1. Beforefillingandsubmissionofonlineapplicationform,thecandidatesareadvisedtogothroughtherelevant instructions and Demo Application form available in CPGET website https://cpget.tsche.ac.in
  • 2. The eligibility of the candidates is not verified/decided at the time of application and during the entrance test. The verification will be done only during the admissions. Hence, candidates are advised to ensure that they are eligible for the course/subject they are applying for.
  • 3. Candidates should note that the Hall Tickets and Rank Cards have to be downloaded from the websites. Schedules for exercising web based options, certificate verification and other related information will be made available only through websites. No personal intimation in this regard will besent to the candidates either by post or by mail.
  • 4. Thecandidateswillhavetoappearfortheentrancetestandforcertificateverificationontheirownexpenses.
  • 5. Syllabus for CPGET- 2023: The syllabus for Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests - 2023 will be made available in the CPGET website https://cpget.tsche.ac.in
  • 6. The entrance tests in all the subjects, (including M.P.Ed) will consist of 100 multiple choice objective type questions for 100 marks.
  • 7. Pattern of Entrance Test for Admission into M.Sc. Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Genetics and Microbiology is as follows. Candidates have to appear for a common entrance test, namely BCESFSG&M comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 Marks) and Part-B (One of the optional studied at B.Sc. level among the optional subjects: Physics, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology and Biochemistry) for 60 Marks.
  • 8. Pattern of Entrance Test for Admissions into M.Sc. Bio-Technology comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 marks) and part-B (Bio Technology for 60 Marks).
  • 9. Indulgence in any kind of malpractice(photomorphing,impersonation,copying,etc.) in entrance test will attract Punishment under the criminal laws.
  • 10. Admissions are conducted through a process of web based counselling. The qualified candidates have to exercise options through web in the order of their preference. The schedule for online certificate verification will be announced after declaring the results.
  • 11. NATIONAL INTEGRATIONQUOTA (NIQ):20% Supernumerary seats in each course in campus and constituent colleges of Universities are available to the candidates belonging to the states other than Telangana and Andhra Pradesh under National Integration Quota. The candidates those who have completed their School & College Education is from other than Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States are eligible only for NIQ Quota.(see Annexure-I).
  • 12. Candidates who have completed degree with single subject in open / distance mode of education are not eligible for P.G.Courses.
  • 13. Candidates qualified in CPGET-2023 are eligible for admissions into Campus, Constituent and Affiliated colleges of Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana, Telangana Mahila Viswavidyalayam and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities.
  • 14. The candidates with other than B.A. / B.Sc./ B.Com. qualification like B.E., B. Tech., B. Pharmacy, LLB (5 yrs),B.C.A., etc. must go through the eligibility conditions before applying toensure their eligibility.
  • 15. B.Pharm. / B.Sc.(MLT) / B.Sc.(Nursing) / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Home Science) / B.Tech. / B.E.Graduates arenoteligible for M.Sc. Courses. However, B.E./B.Tech. graduates are eligible for M.Sc. (Geo-Informatics) and Food Science & Technology. B.Sc. (MLT) Graduate are eligible for M.Sc. Biochemistry & M.Sc. Microbilogy. B.E.,&B.Tech,etc;candidatesarenoteligibleforM.Sc.ComputerScience,M.Sc.MathematicsandM.Sc.Electronics
  • 16. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Information Brochure, the rules and regulations that are in force in the University at the time of admissions shall be final and binding.
  • 17. All disputes pertaining to CPGET-2023 shall fall within the court’s jurisdiction of Hyderabad only.
  • 18. Reservation in admissions for the candidates belonging to Economically Weaker Sections(EWS) category will be implemented as per the relevant orders from the Govt. of Telangana.

Conditions:

  • 1. Admission of a candidate into the same course which he/she has already completed either through regularmode or throughdistancemode from any recognizeduniversity/ instituteis not allowed.This is applicable evenifthe course is completed with different specialization.
  • 2. The reimbursement of fee/scholarship is allowed only for those who pursue a PG Programme for the 1st time. For those who have already pursued any PG Courses (Professional or Non-Professional) will not be provided hostel accommodation and will not be considered for any type of scholarship whatsoever, as per G.O.s. in force. As per Govt. of T.S. Social Welfare (Edn) Department Memo No.10537/SW.Edn.2/2011. The fee/scholarship reimbursement is not allowed. Further, the maximum age forthecandidatesto become eligible for fee/scholarship reimbursement is as per the Government of Telangana rules in force.
  • 3. Atthetimeofuploadingthecertificatesforverification,thecandidatesarerequestedtouploadlatestcertificates of Income, Caste, EWS, etc. to avoid procedural delays in the admission process.
  • 4. The Universities reserve the right to delete any of the courses/subjects from the list mentioned and permit anynew courses/subjects or shift courses/subjects from one college to another in any of the University/Constituent / Affiliated Colleges.
  • 5. CandidatesseekingadmissionunderTeacher/LaboratoryAssistantCategoriesmustsubmittheattestedXeroxcopies of relevant certificates bymentioning their Hall Ticket Number ina special proforma that canbe downloadedalong withhallticket.Further,thecandidates seekingadmissionsunderspecialcategories ofCAP,NCC&PHCategorywill be called for certificate verification and intimated along with the counselling schedule.
  • 6. In the case of P.G. Diploma Courses/5 yr. Integrated Programmes, unless 75% of the available seats are filled, the Universities may not run such courses.
  • 7. In any course, if the numbers of applications are less than the number of intake, the entrance test will not be conducted for such courses. (Note: This is applicable only in case of course which is offered at only one institute/college).
  • 8. Self finance courses and NIQ students will not be provided hostel facility in the university / Constituent College hostels.

Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (Tsicet)

  • 1. The candidates should be an Indian National and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in G.O. Ms No. 25, dated: 19.3.2004; G.O.Ms.No.108 dated 30-7-2005; GO.Ms. No.66, dated 15-7-2011; G.O.Ms. No.5, dated 2-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.7, dated 5-8-2014; G.O.Ms. No.33 dated 31-12-2014 and it amendments and G.O. Ms. No. 22, dated 27.07.2019 of Higher Education Department of Telangana State and its amendments.
  • 2. The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
  • 3. The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2004). No maximum age limit.
  • 4. The candidates seeking admission in to :
    a. Master of Business Administration (MBA): Should have passed a recognized Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com/ B.Sc / BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B. Tech / B. Pharmacy and any 3 or 4 year degree except Oriental Languages) examinations of minimum three years duration with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent marks in case of reserved categories of SC, ST and BC) in the qualifying examinations.
    b. Master of Computer Applications (MCA): Should have passed a recognized Bachelor's Degree (BCA / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or its equivalent degree / B.Sc/B.Com/B.A) examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent marks in case of reserved categories of SC, ST and BC) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level.
    c. The qualifying degree obtained by the Distance Mode Program/ Open Distance Learning (ODL) should have recognition by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations of 2013.
  • 5. The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for TSICET - 2023.
  • 6. Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
  • 7. Qualifying marks in TSICET-2023 is 25 per cent and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate:
    i. Appears for Counseling at the notified Centers.
    ii. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned(for part-time\evening\distance mode).
    iii. Satisfies all the eligibility criteria for admission as stipulated by the authority concerned. FEE CONCESSIONS (FOR FIRST YEARS)
