Strategic Plan

The Institution has developed a strategic plan for continual improvement in order to achieve better results, taking into account, the goals aligned with the institution vision and mission, as well as the recommendations of the Governing Body, Academic Committee, IQAC following the University guidelines.

The strategic plans include:

  • Upgrading and expanding infrastructure to meet changing demands.
  • Traditional classrooms must be transformed into ICT-enabled classrooms.
  • Introduce Postgraduate and Undergraduate Programs in a variety of fields.
  • Take research and development projects.
  • Encourage students to participate in projects and internships funded by the business.
  • Implement value-added certification programmes.
  • Sign Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with numerous companies, professional organizations, and institutes.
  • Plan exchange programmes for academics and students.
  • Seminars/conferences/workshops/FDPs should be organised.
  • Intercollegiate management/cultural/sports meetings should be organised.
  • Enhance admissions, outcomes, and placements
  • Plan on-campus placements.
  • Create a gym.

The institute is making serious efforts to implement all of the aforementioned strategic initiatives.

Provide resources to ensure high-quality teaching and learning:
  • Strengthen the Mentoring system in accordance with the parents suggestions for academic monitoring.
  • Experiential learning is emphasized through field projects, industrial / field trips, and internships.
  • Integrate IT tools into classroom instruction.
  • Additional courses and combinations at the undergraduate level are being introduced.
  • Short-term Add-on courses focusing on skills and careers are being introduced.
  • Increased exposure through the organization of International and National Seminars, Conferences, and Workshops on current developments in all fields.
  • Enhancing employability and fostering entrepreneurial efforts through collaborations and tie-ups with other organisations, as well as the formation of student Clubs to bring out students hidden potential.
  • Engage in social responsibilities
  • To improve the interaction between industries, and placement planning.
  • To provide a comprehensive system for tracking student support and growth.
  • Improve cooperation and connections with national organisations.
  • Encourage Faculty to attend FDPs, conferences, and workshops, as well as to write publications.
  • Faculty are encouraged to do research in order to advance their academic qualifications and interests.
  • Planning of Curriculum enrichment programmers.
Infrastructure Improvement
  • Increasing the capacity of the current computer and language labs.
  • A Medicinal Plant Garden will be established (TSMPB).
  • Additional technology-enabled classrooms will be built.
  • The college has strong infrastructure, with new laboratories which will be maintained and used properly.
Programs for Extension and Social Outreach
  • Emphasize students overall development through promoting involvement in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • To instill social ideals and duties, the college student clubs/committees, NCC, and NSS are well prepared to engage in social outreach programmes such as visits to slums, government schools and villages, mentally and physically challenged facilities, orphanages, and so on. To encourage environmentally friendly green activities in order to preserve nature.
Sports
  • To increase student involvement in international and national sports competiotions, a required sports hour will be added to the academic schedule, as well as yoga and meditation programmers for Faculty and students.
Placements
  • To prepare students for the workforce by offering career assistance and counselling.
  • To strengthen partnerships and hook up with corporations and other organisations in order to increase the proportion of placements.
