The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme was introduced in 1995 with the objective of preparing students for the dynamic and increasingly competitive business environment. Since its inception, the programme has been committed to providing professional, industry-oriented, and quality management education that responds to the evolving requirements of business, industry, and academia. Vaagdevi degree and PG college is offering MBA programme for the last more than 3 decades very efficiently. Recently it has become an autonomous institution which facilitated to revamp the curriculum, delivery mechanism, evaluation system. The program consists of internal assessments, two projects reports, case studies industrial tours and mock interviews. In this program the students are well versed with decision making abilities and problem solving capacities to ensure sustainable strategic competitive advantage. The objective of MBA program is to make every MBA student as efficient and effective manager to shape the fortunes of business enterprises. The ultimate objective is to make MBA’s as “Think-Tanks” who can provide solutions to the emerging problems of corporate world. The students are empowered with intellectual curiosity, conceptual clarity, behavioural magnanimity, risk taking ability.
