The Department of English came into being when the college was established in 1993.
The Department played a lead role in the curricular and co-curricular development among students and was a cradle for many illustrious teachers who later became the Heads of the department and Principal.
The Department has established “Vaagdevi - English Language Club” as the faculty and students as its members regularly conducts various activities to inculcate the habit of speaking in English among the students.
It pays attention on LSRW skills and soft skills, GD & Jam sessions to be ready for the placements by conducting regular interactive sessions.
