Vaagdevi Degree & P.G College, Hanamkonda was established on (26/06/1993) 26th June, 1993 in Hanamkonda which belongs to the United Warangal district of united Andhra Pradesh State (Now it is in the jurisdiction of Hanamkonda District of Telangana State.)

The college is located in the heart of the city Hanamkonda. It is affiliated to the Kakatiya University. It has put up 28 Years of service in academic field offering good education and marching towards the Academic Excellence. An ISO 9001:2015 certified organization.

The goal of the organization is to provide skill enhancing and value enriching education which helps for not only the growth of the student but also become a rich source of offering the talented youth to the society for the Nation building.

The Institution is affiliated to the Kakatiya University and it complies with the guide lines and instructions of both the University and TSCHE, Hyd. It Implements the Academic & Examinations schedule as notified by the authorities.

The college strives hard to provide a perfect platform Inculcating the innovative learning methods by adopting a need based approach in academics while giving priority for the moral & ethics which shapes the individual to befit for the everchanging global environment.

The college has constituted various committees to cater the various needs of the students and to maintain strict discipline among the students all the committees of the institutions are under statutory bodies.

The applications under the RTI Act along with a postal order /D.D for Rs. 10/- obtained in favour of the Principal, Vaagdevi Degree & P.G College, Hanamkonda should be sent to the Public Information officer PIO or handed over in the office, for the required information. All the information about the organization is made available to the people and it may be obtained by any citizen of India.
